Project Chobot

Los Angeles, CA – Several months ago, I was approached to work with IGN staff writer and videogame vixen Jessica Chobot on a project to promote breast cancer awareness, through a non-profit foundation called Keep-A-Breast.

Keep-A-Breast’s fundraising efforts include plaster casts taken from stars and then painted over by artists to be auctioned for charity.   I was tasked with giving Jessica’s cast a “God of War” flavor as I am one of a few artists from different studios who will be working with Jessica to represent the videogame community.

Above are my work in progress images over the last few months along with an image of Jessica being cast.  This Saturday the finished project will be at the Gnomon Gallery God of War III show on display for the next month and a half and then auctioned on Keep-A-Breast’s website after the show is over.

Here is a link to the God of War III Art show at Gnomon Gallery: http://www.gnomongallery.com/

Please return here tomorrow for images of the final piece as it will show at the Gnomon Gallery on Saturday!

This is brilliant work for charity – it involves the hottest woman on the internet, WHILST raising awareness for breast cancer. Kudos Erik :)

@ Anti-Flame — Thank you for the kind words, the project has special meaning to me since I have had family fall to breast cancer. Spread the word!
